From the beginning of the year, the Bulgarian economy is showing growth

In the first quarter of this year compared with the period of January-March last year, Bulgaria's economy grew by 0.4%, compared to the last quarter of 2012 - 0.1%, according to information from the National Statistics Institute (NSI).

According to NSI’s evaluation in the first quarter of 2013, the GDP of the country in nominal terms reached 16,161 million BGN. The actual added value in the first quarter is 13 708 million BGN, 63.4% generated from the services sector, 31.9% - from the industrial sector, and 4.7% - from the agricultural.
